WINTER BOOTS

I really love Winter fashion - from layering to faux fur - not to mention that beloved knitwear! I also think it's important to have a nice collection of reliable and fashionable boots at the ready. It shouldn't come as a surprise that I have a million boots already, so I whittled the selection down to my favourite 4, which include my:

  • M&S Suede Fringe Trim Ankle Boots

  • Zara Studded Chelsea Boots

  • River Island Black Pointy Heeled Boots

  • ASOS Tan Heeled Boots

I feel a good pair of boots can really make an outfit, transforming it from mediocre to instant fashionista! I will let the photos do the talking...

M&S Suede Fringe Trim Ankle Boots

I recently purchased these boots from M&S. They are from the Autograph range and feature a super comfortable sole, which definitely means 'these boots are made for walking' - (I couldn't resist!). Anyway, fringe is totally in this season and when I saw these beauties, I just had to have them! To me, fringe is up there with faux fur (basically, I LOVE IT!). They come in tan or black - but I thought the tan pair were much more striking than the black (plus I have lots of black boots already!). The boots were priced at £69 when I bought them in store (January 2016). Easy to wear with anything - jeans, leggings, dresses, skirts etc. I especially love how the top is curved, which I feel helps elongate my petite legs!

Zara Studded Chelsea Boots

When I first laid eyes on these Chelsea Boots, I was instantly won over by the studding detail and exaggerated sole. When I tried them on, they fit so snug. I love how they're a twist on the traditional black Chelsea boot, with the studs and the Dr Martin resembled sole. They are easy to pair with most things - black skinnies, tights and a skater skirt/dress etc. I'm happy I purchased them, as I think every woman's wardrobe should have at least a pair of Chelsea boots - whether they be the traditional style or in this case blinged up (although I do have a traditional black pair too - just sayin'!)

River Island Black Pointy Heeled Boots

So these are one of my many pairs of black boots. I love that they're a simple traditional design - plain black (with some snake skin effect), a simple stiletto heel and an outside zip. They're so easy to pair with anything as they go with literally everything, being black! They are from River Island a few months ago for around £40 - bargain! However, I do believe they went in the sale for a very good price (grr..!)

ASOS Tan Heeled Boots

These boots are a bit more of a show stopper. I like that the colour is a little unusual, but the overall style of the boot remains fairly simple. I particularly like wearing these with skinny jeans or plain black leggings and  an oversized jumper, as I feel they just add a little more edge to what essentially is a simple outfit! They were from ASOS a while back, and because of that I cannot even remember the price! I've come across many similar designs on the high street and I even included another similar pair on my wishlist post a while back! I love them so much, I literally want another identical pair!
