A girl can only dream about owning every single piece from Topshop, whilst enviously browsing through their online range (yes, we've all sadly been there!). So for this post, I have put together my top 10 pieces I would love to magically appear in my Petite wardrobe!
Although I've already blogged about a similar skirt, I really love the style of this pencil skirt, especially with the tie pocket. I love all things high-waisted, so the tie pocket is handy to keep things in place (as I have a tiny waist) and always have to use a belt. A perfect skirt for Spring/Summer, either dressed up or down. I love the styling of the outfit on the website, with the casual slogan tee and cap.
There's a few things I've had my eye on on the Topshop website, and these shorts are one of them. I adore the oriental tiger print. Again, they're high-waisted, which is totally my style. The shorts come part of a co-ord matching shirt set, which you have to purchase separately. I love that the shorts feature belt loops, meaning you could team them with a contrasting belt. The shorts are perfect for holiday or for a night out outfit, dressed up with heels.
These beautiful satin trousers are another piece I have also had my eye on. I remember Topshop Unique's SS17 show at LFW featuring a lot of fuchsia pink, which I was very excited about! The colour and style of this trouser is stunning. The fuchsia is so Summer (they would look a dream in the colourful streets of Havana!). I love how the trouser hangs loosely, with a nipped in high waist and culotte type leg.
I already have a few pair of Topshop Petite Mom jeans, which I love as they're a loose fit and all about that high waist! When I spotted this dusty pink pair online, I thought they're perfect for Spring/Summer. Easy to team with a tee and Converse, I think they're an essential wardrobe item for any denim fan.
Being a Petite girl, it's hard to find longer jackets, which are actually nicely designed in terms of the length, fit and tailoring etc. I was particularly surprised when I saw this beauty in the Topshop Petite range. I absolutely love the asymmetrical colour blocks and the surprising fact that it's Petite!!! (I can't stress that point enough!). It's definitely a statement jacket for the Winter into Spring transition, when it's still a little on the cold side. Team with a pair of heeled boots or Converse and you're good to go!
It's no secret that embroidery is massive this season. It's literally everywhere across the highstreet. I'm all for a casual day look, in particular this Topshop Petite embroidered hoodie. This hoodie is all about the sleeves - from the flared style to the detailed floral embroidery. On the website they've teamed it with a pair of skinny jeans, however I think it would also look striking with the tie pocket skirt in this wish list post.
Again, another pretty embroidery number from Topshop Petite. Like mentioned in a previous post, I don't tend to wear many dresses these days, but I really love this one purely because it's black and dressed down. I've seen it online for a a few weeks and love it even more each time. It's perfect for a casual day look, teamed with a cap and trainers. I love the embroidered batwing arm detail and the nipped in waist.
Another stunning fuchsia number from the SS17 Topshop Petite collection. This is definitely a statement piece for every Petite wardrobe. This coat would instantly brighten up any dull outfit on a cold day. Pair with gold metallic heels for the night or with Converse for the day. The tailoring is lovely and I love the style of the coat and how it hangs.
I'm on the search for the perfect pleated midi skirt and I feel this particular skirt could be the one! I love the velvet material, midi length and stunning colour. The outfit that's been put together online is totally me and I would absolutely wear this! It would be easy to team the outfit with many different things - from an oversized cropped jumper to a plain tee with heels or flats.
This final piece is yet another coat (sorry, but the Topshop Petite coat range is insane!). This is a perfect casual day coat for everyday (especially for UK weather, with it raining 99.9% of the year). It's a lovely designed coat - the length is perfect, large pockets and I love the turned up arms. The coat is easy to team with most things - the amount of outfits which are currently running through my mind is too much to write down!
