With Miami bringing the heat and Puerto Rico also doing very much the same, dressing for this intense heat was a slight challenge. Trying to stay cool, yet stylish was at times difficult as the heat was literally too much! Luckily enough though, I managed to pull some fashionable petite #ootds off. I think it's really important to pack some essential holiday pieces, which you know you can mix and match with other pieces.

Personally, this vacation I went off shorts, as I don't like the look of them or the feeling when you are seated and stick to a leather seat (the worse!). So for this vacation, I minimised shorts to a beach cover up only! When the sun is so strong, I think it's important to try cover up to help protect your skin, so I was a big fan of longer length skirts and midi petite dresses, as well as petite culottes for this vacation. You may think covering up a little more may make you feel hotter, but it infact cools you down and helps protect your skin from sun damage.

This year's vacation style is a mix of old and new items from my wardrobe, some of which have been featured in my blog in previous petite fashion posts.

FYI - although some of the clothing featured are not petite, they fit perfectly, which shows us petite women are not always restricted to petite clothing. You can wear what you like!
