As part of my collaboration with online retailer, TOBI, I also picked this gorgeous non-petite mustard coloured dress. I love this colour in the Summer with a tan. When I saw it online, I thought I have to have it, because I knew it would photograph well. I think on the average lady, the dress may be a mini, however on my petite body the length is a perfect midi and I love the tie detail across the chest. It's the perfect dress for a night out or any occasion wear event - eg. a wedding, a day at the races or just any time you feel like rocking a mustard coloured dress!
As the colour of the dress is so striking, I didn't want an oversized jacket to interfere with this. Therefore, I opted to keep it simple and jazz the dress up with some geometric pattern (I'm not sure how simple you would call geometrics, but hey ho!). I wore my black and white geometric heels, which are super comfy and go like a dream with the dress, as well as helping elongate the appearance of my petite legs. I teamed a gorgeous oversized clutch, covered in a red Kirath Ghundoo geometric pattern, which I think goes so well with the outfit. For jewellery, I wore a pair of black statement earrings. They are triangular and structured, which I thought would be perfect for the geometric theme of the outfit. To finish off with a little detail, I made it a thing to wear a bright red Huda Beauty Liquid Matte, so it matched the colour of the geometric design on the clutch.
