Halloween is one of my favourite holidays of the year, following Christmas – but I feel it never really gets celebrated in the U.K. (certainly not like how it’s portrayed on American TV shows anyway!). I want to go all out this year - meaning lots of carved pumpkins and fancy dress! I love getting dressed up and Halloween is the perfect opportunity to do just that! In previous years, I’ve simply let the date pass me by – with not one single sighting of a witch's hat or cat whisker. So I thought a Halloween blog post would be the perfect excuse to get dressed up and go super intense and theatrical with my face paint/make up!
To me, the obvious colour which springs to mind when thinking of Halloween is, of course, black! Therefore, I naturally opted for a petite gothic skater skirt and crop combo. I really love the look of black floaty velvet. I adore the skater skirt with its flowing fabric, along with the flared sleeves on the petite crop. For that extra Halloween feel, I added a pair of cute cat stitched tights (I couldn’t resist!). This outfit wasn’t complete without a grungy choker and super high 70’s style platforms! Hope you guys get some inspiration from this post for your Halloween outfit!
Happy Halloween y'all.
