Following on from Clerkenwell Design Week 2016, I thought it was only right to do a fashion related post.

Now for those of you who already follow my blog, you may recognise the faux leather jacket! Yes, I have a gorgeous bright yellow one, which I love so much that when Zara launched it in pastel blue, I just had to get it! I really love the styling and structure of the jacket, so to have it in another colour is even better!

I wanted this outfit to be a little more sophisticated than previous looks featured on the blog. I decided to pair the pastel jacket with my stripe Topshop Petite pleat trousers. I am really glad I bought these. I think they're perfect for Spring/Summer weather and look smart/casual, depending on how they're styled.

I teamed the trousers with a nude body from ASOS. I like the deep V neckline and felt the tight fit and material of the body went well against the pleated material of the trousers. I wanted the jacket draped on my shoulders, which gave off a more 'elegant' look.

I opted for my rose gold heels to finish off the look. They're super high and I absolutely adore the colour of them. I love the 'barely there' style, meaning they literally go with most things! They were also so cheap at £25!

For accessories, I only had one thing in mind. My (heavy) Celine handbag worked well with this entire outfit. I felt all the colours complimented each other and the outfit came together quite effortlessly. I particularly loved the pastel blue of the jacket against the neon trimming of the bag, along with the rose gold from the shoes. Perfection!
