We have reached 2016! This means a new year and a new beauty blog review of course! This time in particular, a NARS beauty review. I absolutely adore NARS products and recently went on a mini shopping spree, spending lots of my hard earned cash on even more NARS goodies (it's like Christmas all over again!).

The 4 NARS products I will be reviewing in this post are:

All statements and recommendations are purely my own opinion. I have not been paid to feature or advertise any product, brand or service in this post.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

If you have been following my blog, you will know that I have previously reviewed the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (#Beauty1), which was and still is a wonderful product. I was also using the Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation (#Beauty2), which was also great but has now sadly ran out. Therefore, I was in two minds whether to continue with my current foundation or try something new. I like to try different products and as I already use the NARS concealer, it made complete sense to try the NARS foundation - mainly to get an overall flawless colour match with my current concealer. I opted for the Sheer Glow foundation which is amazing. The colour match is perfect and the sheer consistency of the foundation is just right for me. Personally, I don't like to apply my foundation too heavy and this product allows for that. I can build up the coverage depending on my preference, easily blending it with my Beauty Blender, without looking like it's caked on my face. The foundation is priced at £31.00 for 30ml.

NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder

I don't usually use a setting powder once I've applied my concealer or foundation and I'm not sure if this is the right or wrong thing to do. However, five minutes at the NARS counter and I was sold! The powder effortlessly made my make up look more complete, whilst ultimately setting my foundation. It counteracted the shine and really helped my make up stay in place over the day. The texture of the setting powder is so silky and weightless, whilst so easy to blend in. Another wonderful product from NARS. The NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder is priced at £26.50.

NARS Highlighting Blush

I have reviewed NARS Orgasm blush in a previous post (#Beauty3). Now this blush, teamed with this NARS highlighter in Albatross is an absolute dream. This highlighter creates an instant dewy radiance on the skin, which suits all skin tones. I easily apply it across my cheekbones and brow bone, for extra definition when doing my eyebrows. The highlighter is so light weight, which allows you to build the intensity. It is super subtle and not overly glittery, which I don't feel is the greatest look. I love a dewy, radiant finish and I own a fair few highlighters, including Benefit High Beam and the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick (#Beauty1). However, I'd say this is one of the best highlighters I have come across. Personally for me, I don't like 'overdoing' my makeup and I feel this NARS highlighter was made for just that look, with it being so subtle. the NARS Highlighting Blush in Albatross, is priced at £23.00.

NARS Aqua Gel Luminous Oil-Free Moisturiser

I have never tried NARS skincare products before, until I purchased the NARS Aqua Gel Luminous Oil-Free Moisturiser. If I could describe this product in three words, they would be: refreshing, light weight and cooling (I know that's maybe technically 4 words but nevermind!). Personally, I find moisturising boring, but it is so important to do so. It's very  easy with the NARS moisturiser. It comes in an awesomely designed pot, which is easy to scoop the moisturiser out of. The moisturiser is light weight and keeps my skin hydrated, soft and smooth throughout the day. It's perfect for my skin type, being normal to slightly dry. The NARS Aqua Gel Luminous Oil-Free Moisturiser is priced at £41.00 for 50ml.
