I've previously blogged all about that Mac jacket. So this time round, I wanted to focus on the ol' bomber jacket. It's crazy to think the bomber jacket was originally worn by pilots in World War I and now they're a complete fashion trend! I absolutely love them and been after one for a while! With such a vast selection available on the High Street, it's proven quite difficult to find the right one. With so many variations - from black, oxblood to khaki, faux fur collars, oversized to cropped and padded - I've been a bit helpless and overwhelmed!

Then one quiet afternoon, I just happened to log on to the Internet to have a cheeky browse on my lunch hour. I came across this beauty from Missguided. I decided I wanted a khaki coloured bomber jacket, as black reminded me of a club bouncer/doorman. What I love about this particular jacket is the super bright orange lining inside (very reminiscent of Hermes). I like to wear it with the sleeves rolled up, just to showcase that bright pop of colour.

The jacket is surprisingly warm, as it's quite padded. With the style of the bomber jacket being slightly oversized, I didn't want the jacket to overpower my petite frame. Therefore, I opted for a fitted outfit with Topshop petite black skinny jeans, a plain black turtle neck and black chelsea boots. For added extras, I added a trilby (channelling my inner MJ) and a gold buckle belt. The jacket is really easy to wear and I feel it can also transform a simple outfit and give it a little something extra. I'm so glad the bomber jacket made a comeback - it's probably my next favourite thing after the gilet.
