A SPRING IN MY STEP

I am so happy it's officially Spring!!! This can only mean the weather is going to get warmer (hopefully) and days will be longer.

To me Spring is summed up as all things yellow - daffodils, baby chicks and faux leather jackets of course! In particular, this gorgeous number from Zara. When I first saw it in the shop, I was instantly drawn to the colour - so structured, bold and YELLOW! I think a girl can never have too many jackets (All About That Bomber Jacket and All About that Mac/Trench), especially biker jackets. They are so easy to wear and go with pretty much everything. With the weather becoming a little warmer, I think a good biker jacket is ideal - especially when it's a bright yellow! As well as adoring the colour of this jacket, I love the structure of it from the shoulder detailing to the detachable belt. This jacket was priced at a very reasonable £39.99 (which I thought was great for Zara!).

I decided to team this Zara beauty with my Topshop Petite Mom Jeans. Now I was initially a little hesitant to try these jeans - purely due to the baggy(ish) style and my petite frame! I saw this pair in the light stonewash colour and they immediately reminded me of the original Levi 501s. I tried them on and was pretty happy with the fit - in particular the high waist and loose leg style at the right length (being from the Petite range of course!). The jeans were priced at £42 - standard for Topshop. I paired the jeans with a striped top - chanelling my inner Parisian chic!

As the weather is starting to warm up, this means it's time to whip out the heeled Summer sandals. I really love this pair that I recently purchased from Primark. I love the tan colour, the lace up design and chunky heel. They're pretty easy to team with most things, in particular Mom Jeans and yellow jackets ;-) . The shoes were priced at £14.
